Gemma (on Jax): I’m his mother, and until I’m dead and cold, I am going to do anything I have to do to protect him.
I wanted to share this. I have been officially diagnosed with OCD (Obsession Compulsive Disorder). And it’s not like Monk who has to clean everything. No.
It’s my obsessive attachment/fixation on fictional characters.
And trust me, I KNOW how weird that sounds. But here’s what I’ve read that sounds JUST like me:
- These symptoms can be alienating and time-consuming, and often cause severe emotional and financial distress.
- In severe OCD, obsessions can shift into delusions when resistance to the obsession is abandoned and insight into its senselessness is lost.
- There have been many cases with OCD when a patient has a fixation on something or someone. Not only can these be sexual feelings, but also mental and emotional. For example, if a fictional character from a television show is feeling confused about their path in life, the patient almost immediately is confused about their path in life and what they’re doing. The obsession is so great that it almost becomes impossible for the patient to find the line between reality and the world in which that fictional character lives in.
So, I have this with Jax Teller (Sons of Anarchy) and Dean Winchester (Supernatural).
The 19th gif in your folder is how you would react if your favorite member from ‘Sons of Anarchy’ showed up at your doorstep and wanted to have sex with you.
